Staging & Rigging

Professional staging platforms, truss systems, and rigging services for events and productions. Safe, engineered structures from Astro Audio Visual.

About Our Staging & Rigging

The stage is the physical foundation of your event's production — it elevates speakers above the audience, provides mounting points for lighting and video, defines the performance space, and communicates the scale and professionalism of your program. Astro Audio Visual's Staging & Rigging service delivers engineered staging platforms, truss structures, and overhead rigging that are safe, visually clean, and precisely configured for your venue and production requirements.

Our staging inventory includes modular platform systems that interlock to create stages of virtually any dimension and height. Standard configurations range from simple 12x16-foot riser stages for presentations to expansive 60x40-foot main stages with thrust extensions, side wings, and rear access ramps. Every stage is equipped with safety railings on elevated edges, ADA-compliant ramp access, and skirting or fascia for a finished appearance. We calculate load ratings for every platform, accounting for speaker equipment, scenic elements, performers, and furniture to ensure structural safety under all conditions.

Above the stage, our rigging team builds truss structures that support lighting fixtures, LED panels, projection screens, audio speakers, drape, and scenic elements. We deploy box truss, triangular truss, and circular truss in aluminum and steel, lifted by chain motors with redundant safety features including rated shackles, steel safety cables, and motor brakes. Every rigging installation is designed by our in-house rigger, who calculates point loads, reviews venue ceiling capacity, and produces a rigging plot that meets OSHA and ANSI E1.2 entertainment rigging standards. Astro Audio Visual builds the platform your production stands on — safely, efficiently, and beautifully.
